Valentine’s Day is the romantic bright spot during the dark days of winter.  Why not add some romance to each of your days?

  • Buy a couple of decorative feather pillows made from soft sensuous fabric for your sofa or bed.  Choose colors that will cheer you, while creating a sense of warmth.
  • Add splashes of red to your favorite room.  Tie a red scarf around a pillow, or use it as a curtain tie-back.  A red rose in a beautiful vase completes the look.
  • Keep out the heart Christmas tree decoration, or buy one at an after Christmas sale.  Hang it around a doorknob using a pretty ribbon, or from a dresser pull.
  • Use a pretty teacup as a planter for a miniature rose plant.  Keep it in its original container for easy watering, then cover with moss.
  • Enjoy your favorite beverage (it doesn’t have to be wine) in a beautiful wineglass.  You only need one!  Then keep it near a sunny window so it catches the sun during the day.
And just remember, if this is winter, then spring can’t be far behind!
