Sap buckets make great containers for unconventional items – and can be changed with the seasons!  Use them to hold towels in the guest bath.  Light an outdoor seating area by filling half full with sand and adding a pillar candle.  Or decoupage for a beautiful vase! 

Now is a great time to shop for flea market and tag sale finds.  Just remember, if you love it, you’ll find a place for it.  And three of anything is a collection, so be sure and display it together. 

Wash your windows!  You will be amazed at the difference it makes in how your rooms look and feel.  And it’s a wonderful way to bring the outdoors in.

Fill your fireplace with candles of various sizes and heights.  Light in the evening for a truly romantic feel.

Look for colorful, fun pillows to add to the furniture on your deck or porch. 

Or make your own using pillowcases, feedbags, quilt pieces or anything else you find interesting.  And whatever you do, don’t forget to take time to enjoy this glorious season.  It goes so quickly!
